What is CBCT Imaging?

At Snödental, we use the Promax 3D LE 2D/3D. This machine allows us to capture both 3D head scans and 2D images for maximum coverage. We’ll be able to see the exact placement of everything in your mouth in a 3D space, such as your gums, bones, teeth, and nerves.

How Does a CBCT Scan Work?

When we’re ready for your CBCT scan, you’ll stand in the middle of a device that will rotate around your head. You’ll still be in a completely open environment, so you won’t have to worry about the anxiety of being in a tight space. Once the rotation is finished, you can step out and we’ll be able to review your 3D head scan!
