If you’ve lost all your teeth, you don’t need to worry. With our dentures, you’ll be smiling again in no time. You’ll be able to return to eating normally while also improving your appearance. At Snödental, we use the latest technology so you can leave with the best smile possible.

Are Dentures the Right Solution?

Dentures are a great alternative to dealing with a full mouth reconstruction if you have little to no teeth remaining. Having new, functional teeth that look just like your natural teeth will allow you to no longer be hindered when you speak or eat. Plus, having dentures will stop your face from appearing sunken in, which can give you an amazing boost in self-confidence.

What Needs to Be Done to Get Dentures?

The first step to getting a brand-new smile will be getting an impression done of your mouth. This is done to ensure your new dentures will fit perfectly in your mouth, so they can feel as natural as possible without any discomfort. If you have any remaining teeth that need to be removed, we will extract them.

When your gums are healed, it’ll be time for placement. You’ll walk out of the office with a new, functioning smile you can be proud of.

What are the Benefits of Dentures?

With dentures, living with missing teeth will be much easier than before. Here are some of the benefits you can look forward too:

  • Increase self-esteem

  • Gives you a full smile

  • Easy removal for cleaning

  • Comfortable

  • Eat what you couldn’t eat before

What to Expect

Conventional Dentures

Conventional dentures are for those who have already lost their teeth. If you need teeth pulled, your mouth will need to heal for up to 12 weeks before you’re ready.

Immediate Dentures

If you choose to go with immediate dentures, we’ll have your custom dentures ready to go before we begin extracting teeth. The dentures will be placed before you leave, meaning you won’t have to live with the missing teeth until your mouth heals.

Overdentures

Overdentures are placed over existing teeth or dental implants to stabilize them. If your original teeth are used, they will need to undergo root canals. If you and the dentist decide to not use your own teeth or if you don’t have any, two implants will secure the dentures.

Partial Dentures

If you still have one or more healthy teeth, partial dentures are an option that have artificial teeth connected to a special base which can be secured in your mouth.

Care and Maintenance

Even though dentures are not your natural teeth, it is still extremely important to have good oral hygiene. Continue to clean your mouth, plus rinse your dentures after eating. They should also be brushed at least once per day and soaked at night. We’ll go over many more important details when you come in for your appointment.

My Botox results are great! I was surprised I didn’t need more units but I’ve heard that more experienced Doctors can get the same results with less.
