What to Expect

Time of treatment depends on the case.

The first step to receiving Invisalign® is meeting with your dentist and discussing your treatment plan and expectations. If any teeth need to be removed to accomplish the desired goal, then a procedure will be planned and scheduled before beginning the alignment process.

You will receive a full mouth x-ray which your dentist will examine and use to create a treatment plan. These will be sent to our partners in Invisalign® where the series of aligners are made and shipped back to us in a matter of days.

In your next appointment we will re-examine your teeth and add small attachments that serve as anchors for the clear retainers. Once your treatment culminates, the anchors will be removed. This process is painless and unintrusive.

Once you receive your Invisalign® aligners, you will be asked to return after two weeks to assess the process, if everything is in order, you will return to the office every two months until the treatment is over. If you use the retainers for 22 hours per day, you will achieve the desired results.
